Didn’t think that I’d get to a place to be able to share this, but after 2 years, I feel ready. More than anything, I wanted and needed time to process everything that had transpired. My incident took place on January 8th of 2021. That day I was at work and it was a Friday. I remember talking to my coworkers in the parking lot before leaving for the weekend. After that, I went home for a bit and then was heading to my girlfriends house. I remember being at a red light. All of a sudden, I blacked out. I ended up never making it to the destination. After a good 20 minutes, my girlfriend started to panic and called me and texted me, but I was not able to respond. She frantically checked my location and booked it out of the house to where I was. I was told that my car ended up between two trees and somehow it stopped for me. Within minutes, the cops and paramedics were on scene.
